4 years is a lot of time

February 2nd, 2009

nothing too exciting these days. i’m almost an unofficial osu student. i have a young face and dress like a programmer, so i blend in well. it was only when i was waiting in line for vending machine and the two girls ahead were giggling at how the machine stole their money, did i truly stop and think, ‘wow, i’m old’. this and talk of the hottest band’s new music video are the reminders of how much has happened in… i guess 4 yrs out of mcgill.

well at least my tutoring skills are in shape. i get a good amount of pleasure teaching and would love to do it as a job if it paid better and i knew the kids wanted to learn. although, i feel i’m probably more useful in a 1on1 fashion. i really hope i get around to making a math tutoring website. it’s a small side project i’m thinking about putting into motion. there’s a lot of stuff already out there, but i think i can bring something to the table still. and it’ll be a way for me to feel like i’m tutoring/teaching if i can make it useful enough to reach a lot of ppl in the world.

i’ll update when i have more…

i think the tutoring website is a great idea, id love to throw some ideas around with you about that... i think its something that although there might be others, like u said, something new can still be brought to the table.. its something i really care about myself, watching someone understand something for the first time is a great feeling, great rush.
